Security at our Sites

Storage RSA takes the following measures to secure your goods:

Access Control Staff

• The facility is controlled 24 hours a day, seven days a week
• Access Control Staff are qualified as Grade C security guards
• ADT has been contracted to provide armed response
• The facility is fitted with panic buttons to call for assistance in case of emergency

Monitoring

• Attempted access to units are monitored by means of infrared beams
• Electronic monitoring of individual doors are reported in the Control Room

Fencing

• Each facility has a combination of the following: Electric fencing up to 1,8m high. Brick and palisade fencing up to 2,1m high. Concrete walls varying in height from 2,0m up to 3,5m
• The perimeter is protected by infrared beams
• Concrete footing is installed below the fence to prevent access from underneath the fence

Access Control

• An intercom and remote controlled entrance gate controls access to facilities
• Entry and exit booms control access to units
• Customers use their own locks to lock their storage units
• The Administration section of the building is protected by remote controlled electric locks and steel doors

CCTV

• A CCTV system provides guards with a clear view of all activity around the facility and in passageways
• Guards in the Control Room can be monitored by head office
